Kaymac Construction were commissioned to complete this diverse scheme, which was divided into separate projects, which were undertaken concurrently. The first project involved the refurbishment, conversion and extension of existing stripped out properties, to provide 25 new high quality private residential units for sale. It also involved providing retail shell space at ground and basement levels, a link bridge to an adjoining residential development, a passenger lift and all other associated works including services installations. No. 396 comprised a house that has listed status and was to be retained as one residential unit. This property was refurbished giving careful consideration to its original features. The second project involved both new build and refurbishment works. A new building was constructed adjacent to St. John Street and Owen Street comprising of 6 no. high quality private residential units and 2 no. live-work units and all associated works. An existing building adjacent to Owen Street and Goswell Street Gardens was refurbished to a high standard to form 4 no. high quality residential units and all associated works.
